Nineteen months

Nineteen months, gee that last month went really quickly! Here are some snapshots of Josh enjoying a frozen yoghurt. We went and sat in a 'cubby house' beside the fridge. The last picture is when he is trying to see something on the TV. His other favourite cubby house places are in the shower, and with his teddys in between the change table and drawers. When he is outside he likes to stand in a hole in the garden (strange child!), or in the sand pit (which I still haven't finished).

Here are some pictures of Josh going for a ride on a quad bike and a Harley! OK, I may have done some creative editing with the Harley picture (they were both taken at Target when he was playing with the toys).

Josh also loves riding the toy motor bike at Grandma and Grandpa's house.

New tricks

When Josh does his Toy Story puzzle now, he knows where the pieces are supposed to go.

He can use a small cup to rinse his mouth after brushing his teeth, and he attempts to spit the water out.

He can open the pantry now by himself (oh no!)

He loves watching Shrek, Shrek 2, Toy Story, and Toy Story 2 DVDs. If he wants to watch one, he will go to the DVD shelf and pick one out and give it to you.

His favourite part in the Shrek movie is when the bird blows up!

He has some very strange ads on tv that he loves to watch, like the Commonwealth Bank ad (I tried to tell him that that is the competition, I have no idea why he likes this ad), he also likes the Mr Hooker Bear ads, Channel Ten ads, Dodo, Jamster Crazy Frog, Twisties Bag O Bones, Subway (the footy one), Lube Mobile. If he hears any of these ads he will stop what he is doing and stare at the tv until they are over - it is bizarre!
