This is a picture of Josh in Grandpa's wheelbarrow, while we were finishing the sandpit.  Josh was a very good helper, he had his little wagon and spade and held the gate open for me while I came through with a barrow full of the old sand.  He raced up the ramp onto the trailer, and the best bit was a ride in the empty trailer back to the sandpit to start over again.

Here is Josh playing in the backyard.  He loves taking all of his toys out of the shed to play with, especially the castle!  He also loves his new sandpit which we finally finished this month.

Yesterday we went to the zoo.  This is a picture of Josh in the butterfly house.  He loved looking at the butterflies, but wasn't too sure about them landing on him.  One landed on his head and tickled him, and he kept putting his hands on his head to check that it was gone.
He also liked the 'teddy bears' which he missed the first time because he was having a sleep, but we went back before we left and two bears had just come out after being fed.  They were sitting right on the rock and looking straight at us.
We went to see the seals and Josh looked in the bottom of the pool as they swam past.
His other favourites were the pussy cats, giraffes and the birdies.

While at the zoo we found this very rare species of wombat - the Red Haired, Nappy Bummed Wombat.  It is found in a habitat full of brightly coloured toys, eats a variety of foods including bananas, grapes and cheese and even likes to play in water.
If you see one, be very careful to hide your remote controls and mobile phones.
It is very destructive, and can become very noisy when excited.
It is also accident prone, frequently bumping it's head and falling over.
