The Jacob Coy Family
Other Research in progress

*I am in contact with quite a few people that have ancesotors from the Beavercreek time period,so perhaps we will all be able to discover some unknown facts.
Genforum is one of my favorites when I hit brick walls

edit

*I'm still working on the MD/PA Christening records for the kids born 1776-1792.

*I'm even including pattern searchs if I can find there spouses record at a certain church or area.
The COY's had to have known the familys for quite some time before the 1802 migration to Ohio

edit

*I'm still searching for the Oath of Alligence by Jacob or his brother Henry, which would lead to their orginal surname spelling.Or at least confirm a years further back than reocrds we know of already.

*I'm searching Land records for the earlier years of 1776-1785 before the 1st PA record that we know of.

*We are still searching the Ship Records. Susan D. Coy Lowe(Kindred Kin) is actually working more on this one than I am at present. She will probably find it too!
-She has a "maybe" with the SNOW CHANCE in 1756

*I'm working on the rest of the COYs and related relatives in Dayton area

*David is spending his time doing TREAHEANE research. Actually we have had family members that have most of the people discovered, but David is spending his time on Levin Henry Treheane and his days at Andersonville during the Civil War.

When I hit a brick wall on the COY side, I will swing over and try to find info on the Trehaernes too.

David and I both have found info on our Mom's side. David has done a great deal to find out all of her lines of members. He has found so many generations, and further into each line.FRIZZELL goes back to the mid 1700's in MD.
