Other than the bath oils discussed in the oils area of recipes, there are many different types of baths which you can take for various reasons. I will try to give you some of the easiest and most common as well as some that will make you feel great.
SEA SALT BATH Source: Many Sources Run a tub of warm which is just at room temperature and add a small hand full of sea salt to it. Just sit in the tub and luxuriate in the feelings it promotes within. It will help to center you after a long hard day. It is primarily for refreshing the body and spirit. Sea salt can be obtained at most of the occult shops and even in some health food stores.
ANOTHER SEA SALT BATH Source: Malbrough Fill the tub half full with warm water, and add one tablespoon each of blessed sea salt and clear household ammonia. Use a cup or bowl to pour the bath water all over yourself including your head and hair, visualize that all your negativity is being cleansed away and you are being filled with white light and see it radiate out from around your body for an additional three feet. He states that the bath should last for nine minutes, with a total immersion every three minutes. When you step out, you may towel dry your hair but he states that to preserve the cleansing effect you should allow your body to air dry. This is primarily for the cleansing of the aura and to strengthen the astral nature. INDIGO BLUE WATER Source: Mickaharic First you must find some of the old fashioned blueing which was used in the laundering of whites ( and as a rinse for grandpa's white hair, hence the phrase " blue-haired little old ladies "...or in my family grandpa. ) The best kind I have found is Mrs. Stewart's which has been a " standard of excellence since 1883 " as the packaging explains. I bought mine years ago so I have no idea how easy it will be to find any more. But it lasts almost forever if it is a high quality, which I must admit Mrs. Stewart's is. It is very simple to use. Just run a tub of water ( I prefer a slightly cool bath when using Indigo Blue Water, just a personal preference, but try it you might like it ) and add a few tablespoons of bluing to the water. Soak for at least 20 minutes and submerge several times to get the full effect. This is primarily for strengthening the astral body and the aura again. DANDELION BATH Source: Riva This is stated to be highly effective as an herb bath. Take a handful of the dandelions and tie them up into a small bag and toss them into a hot bath. It is supposed to stimulate anyone and also to be of particular use to those who wish to use their psychic talents to summon spirits. (Just be careful what or who you summon. I personally would suggest that you not try to summon and control anything or anyone. Personal opinion, based on experiences that I may consider putting on here some day. I'm not certain yet. Just be exceedingly careful when doing this sort of thing. PLEASE!)
