Witches do cast spells. Have you ever heard the old adages about "mind over matter"? How about "the power of positive thinking"? Well a spell works just like that. It is a process used in which the energy of a person or group of persons is focused toward bringing about a desired response in the physical world, either with or without the use of accompanying tools and items.

Witches believe that causing harm is against everything that we are all created for (regardless of religion) thus it is wrong, we are not to harm anyone, (even ourselves). That should take care of any question of evil spells to bring about anothers ruin, death, maiming etc.

A Male Witch is a Witch. Nothing more, nothing less in most wiccan circles. (There are a few exceptions, as always, in life. But that a witch is a witch regardless of gender is pretty much a given.)

We do not have sabbats in the middle of the night which include the sexual molestation of any person or animal of any age or any sex or any species. That is Hollywood's version of Witchcraft... if you are going to believe that then I guess you should believe that all us Texans still ride horses and own oil wells and live on ranches, all Californians care only about their tans and which wave to catch and go around shooting people on the highway, and all people from New york are drug addicted, gang-bangers who would just as soon shoot you as look at you.
