This ritual may be done singularly or as a group and can be a great way to start your morning. I believe that the source for this particular ritual is the Blessed Scott Cunningham in his fine book "WICCA: A Guide For The Solitary Practitioner" Stand Before your shrine or altar with an offering of some kind(grain, breads, wine, flowers, etc...) in hand. Light the altar candle/s and the incense, then place the offering in the bowl or plate that should be provided for this purpose. Say: "Lady of the moon, restless sea, and verdant Earth. Lord of the Sun and of the wild creatures. Accept this offering I place here in your honor. Grant me the wisdom to see your presence in all things, O Great Ones!" Now sit stand or kneel for a few minutes in silent contemplation of the deities and of your relationship with them. Feel their presence inside and all around you. Then snuff out the candles. However allow the incense to burn itself out as you go about your day or night. (Note)This ritual is simple enough to perform as part of your daily regimen.
