Pendulums are some of the most common tools used in divination today. They can be made from many items found currently around the average household, or they can be purchased in many local occult stores.
They can be used to answer simple yes or no questions or they can verify the location of an item lost in a certain area, much in the same way that a dousing rod is used.
When a pendulum is used you must be very specific as to what the question is or you can get an answer which is incorrect or sometimes no answer at all. If you are too vague in the actual question asked, or if you are asking a question that the answer should be blantantly obvious to, you can receive what I call a "DUH" answer.
This like all practices can be used improperly and may scare the wits out of yourself and others who may be watching, so be very careful of the way in which you're phrasing the questions!
