marinade dressing for 15-20 minutes:
1/4 c canola oil
1/4 c vinegar
1/4 c sugar
salt and pepper
2-3 tbsp chopped red onion
2-3 tbsp chopped celery
1 can WELL DRAINED mandarin orange sections chopped
2 tbsp slivered almonds, toasted (place in fry pan on med. heat for few minutes with 1 tsp. sprinkled sugar over top)
Toss torn romaine lettuce and almonds with dressing and serve immediately.
