Cherry Shortbread

1 c butter
2 1/4 c flour
3/4 c brown sugar
1 egg
Cream butter and sugar.
Fold in egg.
Add flour.
Stir and knead until mixture is soft.
Roll in small balls.
Flatten with cherry in center.
Bake 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
Let cool for few minutes on baking sheet before removing to wire rack to cool.

I also leave the cherry off and put icing and sprinkles on top for a change.
