1/2 c butter
1 c sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
2 c flour
2 tsp baking powder
3/4 c milk
1 c berries
Cream butter and sugar. Add egg. Beat until fluffy. Mix flour and baking powder together. Add dry ingredients and the
liquid to the creamed mixture. Add berries and fold in. Bake in 9" baking dish for 50 minutes at 350 degrees.
Brown Sugar Sauce:
Melt 1/4 c butter in saucepan. Whisk in 2 tsp flour. Add 1 c brown sugar, 1 1/2 tsp vanilla, 1/2 c water. Bring to boil,
reduce heat and simmer for few minutes, Remove from heat and let cool slightly before serving over cake.
May place dollop of whipped topping oneach serving.
